With dimensions of 100 x 15 x 7.5 cm, this Grodan wool growing mat provides an optimal environment for plants that require precise water and air balance in the root zone.

Ideal Growing Medium for Tomatoes, Peppers, Cucumbers, and Eggplants

Grodan's Vital mat is a versatile substrate especially suitable for tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and eggplants. It supports vigorous plant growth from the early stages of cultivation and helps create the perfect conditions for strong, healthy root development. This makes it an excellent choice for growers looking for consistent results and easy crop management.

Fast Root Growth and Uniform Plant Development

One of the biggest advantages of this mineral wool growing mat is its ability to stimulate fast root growth. The structure of the mat promotes even water distribution and supports steady access to nutrients, which leads to uniform shoot development and uniform growth. As a result, plants can develop in a balanced and controlled way from transplanting to harvest.

Excellent Water Management and Easy Resaturation

The Grodan Vital mat has been designed for growers who need precise control over moisture conditions. Its structure allows for quick resaturation, making irrigation easier to manage throughout the season. It also helps maintain stable WC and EC levels, which is especially important in professional horticulture and intensive cultivation systems.

Perfect for NFT Flow Systems

This one-year mineral wool mat is especially recommended for NFT flow systems, where stable performance and efficient water movement are essential. The mat supports healthy root zone conditions and helps crops thrive in modern hydroponic environments. Its reliability makes it a trusted solution for both commercial production and advanced home growing.

Compatible with the Same Technology Growing System

The correct combination of cube and mat is crucial for achieving the best results. The Plantop NG2.0 Cube and Grodan Vital Mat are based on the same technology and are fully compatible. Their uniform structure helps ensure constant root development in both the cube and the mat, supporting the plant throughout the entire growing cycle.

Vertical Fiber Structure for Better Root Support

The mat features a vertical fiber structure that encourages roots to grow in a controlled and efficient way. This design supports excellent aeration, water distribution, and root expansion. Thanks to its structure, the substrate creates a balanced environment that helps plants remain strong and productive over time.

Inert and Hydrophilic Fibers for Stable Results

Grodan Vital mat is made from inert, hydrophilic fibers, which means it does not interfere with nutrient management and helps retain moisture in a controlled way. This makes it easier to maintain a stable growing environment and supports healthy root activity. The result is a medium that is dependable, clean, and highly effective in intensive plant production.
