Tropf-Blumat drip with 3mm tube

The Tropf-Blumat ceramic drip with humidity sensor is a major part of blumat's automatic irrigation system. It is both a humidity sensor and a water distributor. It is made of clay cone, adjustment head with diaphragm and valve. It is equipped with a type-T branch connector (8-3-8mm) and a 20 cm silycon tube with a diameter of 3 mm. The Tropf-Blumat drip monitors the level of soil moisture at the site of placement (near the roots of the plant) and reacts immediately by providing the right amount of water when the soil around the roots is too dry. A single drip irrigates and monitors the soil with a diameter of 20-25 cm. It works on the basis of the phenomenon of osmosis. Connection to a water source, which may be a gravity tank or tap, with an 8 mm diameter water supply hose. Connection to the tap via water pressure reducer.

Elements necessary to connect to a water source if the drip is not purchased to expand one of the finished sets that the listed components already contain:

• 8mm water supply hose, black or white, sold per meter or in rolls (the product can be found in the HOSES section), which is needed to connect the drip to the water source. When the installation will run against the backsoil of a white wall and we do not want it to be visible we recommend a white snake;
• The connector for the gravity tank (product in the accessories department) allows the connection of an 8 mm tube to the tank;
• End connector, to close the 8mm water supply tube;
• Pressure reducer (the product can be found in the REMAINING ACCESSORIES section), which is needed when the system is to be connected to the tap.
