What is VPD Control?

VPD control (Vapor Pressure Deficit) refers to the difference between the amount of water vapor present in the air and the maximum amount of vapor the air can hold at a given temperature. In the context of plant cultivation, VPD control helps maintain the proper levels of humidity and temperature, which are crucial for healthy plant growth.

In practice, this means that devices with VPD control monitor the air temperature and humidity, as well as the temperature of plant leaves, to optimally adjust these conditions. By maintaining proper VPD, plants can absorb water and nutrients more efficiently, leading to improved growth.

Thanks to the extended sensor range and flexible hose, the device allows for continuous monitoring and regulation of the climate. Safety features include an automatic shut-off system that activates when the heater falls, tilts beyond a 15° angle, or overheats. The product is part of the UIS™ platform of grow devices and smart controllers, designed for integration with the AC Infinity app via Wi‑Fi to achieve ideal conditions in your environment.

Smart Climate Control

Access temperature and VPD triggers, as well as timer and cycle programming, via the built-in controller. These smart controls use a wired sensor that instantly detects environmental changes over a wide area. VPD triggers (vapor pressure deficit) take into account ambient temperature, relative humidity, and the temperature of plant leaves. This optimizes nutrient uptake, allowing you to precisely control growing conditions compared to relying solely on temperature and humidity. There are 10 heating levels available, enabling gentle warming or rapid temperature increases when needed. Connect the heater to UIS controllers to achieve full integration with 10 levels and go beyond standard outlet-controlled heaters that offer only on/off functionality.

This smart heater is designed specifically for optimal temperature regulation in grow spaces. The PWM-based design utilizing 3 separate PTC plates provides 10 true heating levels for precise heat output. In addition to heating, a fan mode with 10 levels for fresh air intake is also available. The built-in hose and the included detachable 4‑foot hose allow heat to be directed to specific areas within the grow environment. This enables you to place the device in a convenient location, outside the grow tent. The included handle and convenient cord compartment ensure greater efficiency in positioning and storing the device.
