Athena Balance 944 ml - pH regulator and stabilizer (Blended)

Athena Balance 944 ml is a simple formula of potassium silicate specifically concentrated to buffer irrigation water and stabilise to ideal pH. Silicon additionally benefits plant growth, stem structure, stress reduction, water usage (osmoregulation), and nutrient utilisation.

Athena Pro Balance is a powered water-soluble pH up for the professional cultivator design specifically for use with advanced fertigation systems like Dosatron and Netaflex.  Athena Pro Balance allows the grower to customize the strength of their pH adjustment to their unique situation. Pro Balance concentrate may be mixed at a rate of 0.25 - 1 lb. (40 - 120ml) per gallon (3.8L). Adjust the mix rate and injection rate depending on the amount of pH adjustment required.

How does Athena Balance works?

For the best results with most nutrient ranges we would always recommend to use reverse osmosis (RO) water. RO water has a zero EC value as it has been stripped of any impurities and other un-needed elements you would find in tap water. This means nutrients can be used to their full dosages and therefore your plants are getting more of what they need. However pure RO water has an unstable chemical structure which can cause issues with both pH levels and nutrient lockouts. Most growers opt to add some tap water to their mix in order to combat this which then adds these unwanted impurities back into your mix. Fortunately Athena Balance can help! Balance adds just enough to the water to create the needed buffer and a homogenous nutrient solution as well as reducing the need to pH after you have made your mix.

The other benefit of adding Potassium Silicate to your solution is amount it actually helps your plants. Silicon greatly increases the thickness and strength of your plants cell walls. This helps to improve things such as the thickness of the stems, greater stress reduction and more resistance to disease and environmental factors. 

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Always wear protective gear when handling. Mix as a concentrate at 0.25 - 1 lb. per gallon (40 - 120 grams per liter) in clean water. Dose as needed to raise fertilizer solution to target pH. Calibrate your pH meter before measuring for best accuracy. Mixing Pro Balance causes a thermal reaction that heats the solution while mixing. Allow time to fully mix and cool before using concentrate.
